TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Feature

BengaCast Art epoxy resin can be cured in room temperature, 1:1 volume ratio, very easy to operate, with the feature of low viscosity and good flowing property, natural degassing, anti-yellowing, high transparency, no ripple, bright in surface, low viscosity.

Application

BengaCast Art epoxy resin can be widely used for arts and crafts, handmade jewellery, and mould filling, etc.

Maximum casting depth of 2-5cms depending on the size of the mould.  For larger moulds, do not exceed 2cms otherwise you will experience flash curing.

Properties before Hardening

Operation

1. Measure equal parts of parts A and B according to the given ratio into the prepared cleaned container. Fully mix the two parts together, ensuring that you get to the side walls and base.  Mix for approximately 3 to 5 minutes, and then it can be used.
2. Use the resin within to the usable time above, and the amount needed to avoid wastage. When the temperature is below 15°C, heat part A to 30°C first, and then mix it to part B. (Part A will be thicker in low temperatures).
3. The resin bottles must be sealed well after use to avoid rejection caused by moisture absorption.
4. When the relative humidity is higher than 85%, the surface of the cured mixture will absorb moisture in the air, and form a layer of white mist on the surface, so when the relative humidity is higher than 85%, it is not suitable for room temperature curing. It is suggested to use heat curing.

Properties after Hardening

Caution

1. The operating environment should be well ventilated and kept away from fire.
2. Avoid eye contact, in case of contact, wash with plenty of water and get medical attention immediately.
3. If the resin comes into contact with skin, wrap with clean cloth or paper, and wash it with water and soap.
4. Keep away from children.
5. Please make a trial batch before application to avoid usage mistake.

Storage and Shelf Life

1. Store at the temperature of 25°C or cool and dry place. Avoid from sunlight, high temperature or high humidity environment.
2. Use up as soon as possible when opened. It is strictly forbidden to expose to the air for a long time after it is opened to avoid affecting the quality of the products. The shelf life is six months in the room temperature of 25°C.
